webTMS™

webTMS™ is BearWare’s web-based transportation management system providing specialty retailers with on-line visibility of their outbound supply chain. Carton level freight tracking data collected by BearWare’s RDS system, in conjunction with data provided by shippers, is consolidated on BearWare’s web servers and securely accessed by shippers’ transportation, store operations, and inventory control departments and individual retail stores.

Information on webTMS is organized to follow the process of moving freight from a shipper’s distribution center, consolidator, or DC bypass facility, in and out of third party transportation provider terminals, and on to store delivery. Reverse logistics are also tracked on webTMS. Examples of some reports available on webTMS are:

Inbound receiving at 3rd Party Pool Distributors – trailer level over, short and damage (OS&D) reports;
Linehaul (DC to 3rd Party Pool Distributor) on-time and detention reports;
3rd Party Pool Distributor performance evaluation reports such as on-time, delivery scan compliance, and delivery accuracy;
Delivery status reports which show cartons in transit to individual stores along with the status of past deliveries;
A carton history report showing a carton’s movement across the supply chain: out of DC, into pool, (potentially into and out of hold), out of pool, (potentially into and out of a secondary pool), and delivery at store;
Reverse logistics reports that provide visibility of cartons as they move from stores, through the 3rd party transportation provider’s terminal, and are put in transit to the shipper’s DC or off-site returns processing facility.
